We had called the tile manufacturer showroom the day before and they had stock but would need to be collected in person. Phew…
Nicky (tile shop) would not be able to source it in time. Last week, my contractor had mentioned to me his busy schedule for Tues. Piglet ran a 2 hour errand to purchase and collect the tiles during his lunch break. Yay!
Piglet purchased it at the showroom. They sold at the normal listed price as we bought 1 box only. He then drove the car behind the showroom at the warehouse entrance.
A forklift approached piglet with seemingly nothing on the fork. Then warehouse workers took a box from behind his seat above the counterweight of the forklift.
Contractor called up to get an update regarding the extra tiles later in the afternoon. He was glad that we have managed to get them so that it will not delay the renovation further.
There is one more day left for tiling work. Can’t wait!
