One of the main problems with skylight is water leakage.
I noticed that it was leaking before the tiling works. The contractor had advised me to check whether it was leaking from behind or underneath the gutter. I checked during three rainy incidents and eventually contacted the skylight company.
Mr Soon was worried that there was not enough roof pitch/ fall of the flat roof skylight. We did not want to redo the original roof tiles above the skylight so there was a limitation on the construction of it.
My contractor had advised to get it sorted asap as it would affect the adherence of the wall tiles to the wall in the long run.
It was rectified in between tiles installation period. He had personally checked it and explained that the silicone between the glass had gaps.
Phew! Such a relief that it was not a bigger problem.
Water Leak resolved! Yay!
Electricity 2nd fix could go ahead after the tiles installation is completed.
